Hopfest 2014 Lineup
Rounding out the end of American Craft Beer Week is the Waldo Hopfest. The Well and Lew's have been nice enough to share the planned beer list for the festival. We've gone through and highlighted some of the more rare beers that might pique your interest. In my personal opinion, this list looks pretty great. A fantastic selection of local beers including some from Mother's that are only available in their taproom, as well the more sought after barrel-aged brews like Firestone Walker's Parabola, Santa Fe's new sours have even made their way onto the list. You'll even be able to try beers from Michal Crane and his upcoming Crane Brewing Company opening next year in Raytown.
Tickets are still available, and if you really want to make sure to get your hands on some KBS and the other rarer beers, you'll want to look into getting the VIP ticket as it get's you in an hour earlier than everyone else, let's you meet and greet with the brewers, and some VIP-only tappings.
Hopfest happens this Saturday, May 17th from 2pm to 6pm in Waldo behind The Well at 210 West 74th Street, tickets can be bought online at - www.waldowell.tix.com - and in person at Lew's Bar & Grill or The Well. Expect a full day of great beers, brewer interviews, food trucks, and homebrewing awards!
