New bar headed to Martini Corner

The latest nightclub/restaurant concept headed to the explosively popular Martini Corner:

“It’s called the Bottle Rocket,” says landlord Chris Seferyn, of Velvet Dog fame. “It’s the building directly east of Sol Cantina at 3044 Gillham.”

What to expect?

“It’s two guys who are managers at La Bodega, and they’re going to do Sake Bombs and an Asian fusion restaurant concept.”

Sake Bombs?

“Sake Bombs are where you take a shot of sake, and you drop it in a beer and you chug it,” Seferyn says. “Hey, I don’t like sake, period, but people love it. They should be open by sometime this fall.”
