Boulevardia Announces Music Lineup

Boulevard just announced the music lineup for their Boulevardia festival happening June 13-15th, and color me impressed. They've got a set of local acts that are amazing and they are complimented by some fantastic touring bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Wild Feathers, Capital Cities, and Blondfire. ​Boulevardia Announces Entertainment Acts  
Inaugural urban street festival will feature an assortment of local artists and national acts 

April 17, 2014 – Kansas City – Boulevardia, Kansas City’s newest beer, food and music festival, is pleased to announce the entertainment lineup. Capital Cities, the indie electro band from Los Angeles, will headline the three-day festival with a performance on Saturday night, June 14th. Other acts include The Wild Feathers and Quixotic on Friday night, and The Freddy Jones Band and BoDeans on Sunday afternoon. Tickets for each day are already on sale at boulevardia.com for $10 per day (until May 1st, when they will increase to $15 per day). Due to the urban festival grounds layout, days can sell out so it is advised to purchase tickets in advance.

Boulevardia also includes a Makers Market highlighting local merchant goods, a family-friendly carnival and eco-expo, food trucks, and of course a plethora of Boulevard beers. Special tappings from other fine craft breweries will also be available throughout the weekend for general admission ticket holders to purchase. The sold out Taps and Tastes, an exclusive beer and food sampling event featuring more than 40 craft breweries from around the world, will take place at Boulevardia on Saturday afternoon. 

Attendance is anticipated to draw from primarily the Midwest region, though preliminary ticket sales currently include guests from 30 states. Two hotel partnerships have been established to assist with traveler accommodations. The Aladdin Hotel, located in Downtown Kansas City, has rooms at $125 per night, with each room including two complimentary General Admission tickets for a day of the guest’s choice. Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center has rooms at $140 per night, which includes two free General Admission tickets for a day of the guest’s choice and a complimentary shuttle service to and from the festival during Boulevardia’s hours of operation. Rooms can be secured directly through each hotel.

The three-day urban street festival is scheduled to take place June 13-15th in the historic West Bottoms area, specifically in and around the iconic, multi-leveled 12th Street viaduct.
