Rusty Horse introduces loyalty program

For those of you that live in Parkville or find yourself in that area on a regular basis, Rusty Horse Tavern just announced a new program that might just pique your interest. They announced a new 'Craft Beer Club' that rewards frequent drinkers with free beer. If you buy 6 craft beers within 14 days, the 7th beer is on the house. Though I haven't visited Rusty Horse in a while, they keep a decent selection of beers on their 22 taps, and the most recently published menu on their website features some notable beers like Evil Twin Ron and the Beast Ryan, Stone Smoked Porter and Avery The Czar.

Civil Life 'official' in KC

Though their tap handles have been seen around town for months now at places like Martin City Brewing Company, Bier Station and Flying Saucer, St. Louis' The Civil Life Brewing Company is now officially launched in the Kansas City area, with distribution courtesy of MoBev. The distributor now has full access to Civil Life's lineup of beers, so this means you're now obligated to harass your favorite bar that HASN'T had Civil Life on tap yet, and make sure they get some kegs. Civil Life's founder, Jake Hafner, is a great guy, and fortunately, they happen to also make some great beers, so I hope to see the brewery do very well in Kansas City.
