New Belgium Clips of Faith

New Belgium's beer and film fest, Clips of Faith is back in town on Thursday night, May 22nd. It's a free event for all ages, with beer being the exception of course. You can buy tickets for beer and there will also be soft drinks and snack available as well - check the bottom of this post for the New Belgium beers that will be pouring.

It's being held at Thesis Park, in front of The Nelson Art Gallery. Last year they had the huge projection screen set up right in front of Brush Creek at the bottom of the hill so everyone can sit up the hill in an amphitheater style. The event opens at 7:00pm and then films start playing at dusk, so be sure to bring a blanket to sit on or a "low chair" to mark your spot. More detailed information can be found on New Belgium's site - here.

The event is fundraiser for Bike Walk KC as well, so if you want to ride your bike in - they'll be plenty of space to lock it up. If you need to drive, you can find parking information on their page - here.

I had a really good time last year. It's a relaxing night where you can have a few beers, hang out with your friends and family, and watch a handful of funny/creative/thought-provoking short films all while helping Bike Walk KC raise some money to help them on their mission to make KC a safer and more accessible place for everyone.
