Little Smokies Day

It's election day and things are going to change around KC. That's right, you'll be able to drink your Boulevard Smokestack beers 12 ounces at a time. 4 packs of Smokestack beers are hitting store shelves all around the KC area today. You can get Double Wide, Tank 7 and Sixth Glass in the new, drinking friendly 12 oz. 4 packs.

Go pick some up after you vote and get ready to drink as you're watching election night coverage. Pop one open as the polls close on the east coast and the Republican landslide begins (make sure you comment below where you got yours and what you paid). Depending on which party is your home team you'll probably want to drink every time Christine O'Donnell is mentioned. If you can make it long enough for the west coast returns you'll probably need another 4 pack to find out if weed is finally legalized in California or if we'll have new congressional leadership with the ouster of Harry Reid and Republican control of the House. Much drinking will ensue tonight, so make it 12 ounces of Smokestack magic at a time. You'll be participating in more change than the election today will bring.

  1. It ships to distributors today and will take a few more days to get to liquor stores. Silly liquor laws!

  2. Distributor had it last night (Monday night). It was going out on trucks this morning to liquor stores.

  3. Gomers Lenexa was supposed to get it today (Nate had basically an entire shelf in the cooler dedicated to it) but he said they messed up something with the labels or product codes or something and they didn't get it. He was not pleased with the situation, but said he hoped to have them within the next couple days.

Also of note is apparently the 21st Anniversary has already hit Columbia, so it should be arriving in KC soon I would think.

  12. Gomer's South and Royal at 103rd & State Line had none, at least not out anyway.

I'm curious as to the choice of Dbl Wide, Sixth Glass and Tank 7, while leaving out Long Strange. I assume it's the least-selling of the 4 year-rounders (not including Dark Truth in this just yet since I've yet to see it outside of a seasonal release)?

  13. MDL (95th W. of Antioch) has these on sale, $9/4pk. I think they should use Maurice Chevalier to sing the Tank 7 theme song if they ever try to advertise. "Tank 7...for leetle girls!"
