Tank 7

We're now one step closer to Tank 7 being released in bottles. Boulevard now has a label for it. Tank 7 will be replacing the Saison that is part of the year round lineup of Smokestack Series brews. It is the only Smokestack beer served on tap around town.

The other night at The Westside Local Stella tried her first Tank 7 and loved it. It is my favorite beer of the Boulevard lineup and I plan on always having a bottle of Tank 7 (or on tap in the kegerator) in the house.

In order to get it out on shelves quicker we need to get all of the existing Saisons off the shelves so get out there and buy some.

  1. I suggest picking up a bottle of Saison also as a collector's item. Keep it full or drink it, but you may never see it again. Kind of like Ten Penny from blvd.

I can't wait to see the Rye on Rye label. If Payton takes it as literal as Harvest Dance label the Rye might find themselves in a sexual position. :) Some Rye on Rye action.

  3. Love the Tank 7. Sorry to see the Saison go, but honestly, preferred the Saison Brett anyway. The Tank 7 is a great beer.

  4. Didn't love the Saison (or Brett for that matter) so I can't be much help clearing the shelves. I do hope to give this a try when it makes it to stores tho.

  5. Yeh for Tank 7!

Are they still charging $8/glass for it The Westside Local?

  6. Had it at City tavern. Paid too much for a small 8 ounce glass. Good beer, strong. Never return to crappy City Tavern. Ever.

  7. Brett Saison is certainly better than the standard Saison, but the standard Saison is better than the Tank 7. I think it's a mistake to replace the lovely, complex, bright and spicy Dupont-like Saison with the heavier Tank 7.
