What is the Ultimate Kansas City 6 pack?

A couple weeks ago I had a friend come in from out of town who enjoys trying local craft beer. He asked me for some recommendations. Before I knew it I had rattled off a list of about 20 beers. This gave me an idea.
If you could build a make your own six pack of beers from around Kansas City, what six beers would you choose.
Rules. Why? Because even Fight Club had rules.
1. The beer needs to come from a brewery within a 100 mile radius from KC. Why 100? That sounds about right, but if you bought me a round then I could be talked into a different number.
2. The beer needs to be available year round. This is a tough one but I wanted to come up with a six pack that can be available to anyone coming in from out of town at any time.
3. Cannot have two beers from the same brewery. We have enough great breweries, variety should not be an issue.
4. Cannot have two beers of the same style. Similar reason for rule 3.
5. The beer needs to be able to fit inside a six pack. Sorry Saison Brett and my other 750ml friends.
6. You need to be able to purchase it at a store.

Pick #1: Martin City Brewing Company Hard Way IPA
If you are looking for a great local IPA then my pick would be to go with the Hard Way.

Pick #2: Torn Label Alpha Pale Ale
Honorable mention: Boulevard Pale Ale & Free State Copperhead Pale Ale
I love the balance of the Alpha and is a favorite for any occasion. Torn Label makes some fantastic brews and this is my favorite.

Pick #3: KC Bier Dunkel
Honorable mention: Martin City Belgian Abbey & Torn Label Monk & Honey
The Dunkel hits the spot if you are in the mood for something malty and slightly sweet. I love pairing this beer with many types of food and always have fun with the family at their brewery.

| Boulevard Wheat |
Honorable mention: Boulevard 80 Acre & KC Bier Hefeweizen
Boulevard Wheat was my gateway beer for discovering that beer could taste...well...great. For years it was the only beer I would purchase and still find myself defaulting to a six pack wheat when I visit the store. Hold the lemon please.

| Free State Oatmeal Stout |
Honorable mention: Torn Label House Brew & Boulevard Bully Porter
Free State makes a damn fine Oatmeal Stout. This beer gives me the rich roast coffee notes and a silky smooth finish with the oats. *I have also been a big fan of the Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat Oatmeal Cream Stout. I sure hope that Tallgrass finds a way to continue to distribute their great beers.

Honorable Mention: Boulevard Tank 7 & Free State Ad Astra Ale
Over the last couple years I have found that I greatly enjoy sours. I especially like sours that make your cheeks cave in, and boy does Crane have this figured out. The Tea Weiss might run you a couple bucks more but you will not regret that decision.
