Nommo Day

Today's the day that Boulevard Nommo Dubbel will be hitting store shelves in KC. Nommo should be widely available and not difficult to find, so don't panic, it will be around for a while. It should cost the same as Tank 7 or other regular Smokestack brews.

Nommo appears to be a little controversial. I loved it and really look forward to going out and getting some today. I haven't had it on tap though, and I've heard it's not that great on tap. I'm interested in seeing if I'm just an outlier, or it's bad on tap or it's great in the bottle or somewhere in between. In any case, I like it in the bottle so I'll be fine.

  1. I had it on tap at Beer Kitchen a few weeks ago and thought it was great. Excited to pick up a few bottles tonight.

  2. So I ask my wife to pick one up for me on her way home from work, she comes home with 2 (which is fine) but they charged her $11.99/each WTH, $11.99 is the limited release pricing not the seasonal right??

  3. Yes, your wife was overcharged. Where did this happen?

  6. FOR ME Midtown is as the finest as they come here in KC. They're not here to rip you off, they even offer a discount to loyal customers.

  7. Rimann is sometimes on the high side and they are selling it for $8. Can't believe Midtown would spike it like that.

  8. I'm pretty sure it was some sort of mistake made at Gomer's Midtown and definitely not an attempt to take advantage.

  9. Hi All,

This thread was bought to our attention at Gomer's today by one of our beer reps, and we wanted to clarify what happened.

The Nommo pricing mistake came about as a result of an error on the distributor's invoice. Once we learned of the mistake, we contacted our customers who paid the higher price and offered a refund based on the correct, lower price ($8.99).

We would never try to gouge people on a limited beer. It goes against everything "Gomer's"!

    Best,

    The Staff at Gomer's Mid

  11. Call them and tell them you were overcharged, that it sells for the same price as Tank 7 everywhere else in town. See what they say, they may have had the same invoicing issue that Gomer's Midtown had.
