The Conflux has Landed

Deschutes' version of the White IPA collaboration with Boulevard, Conflux #2, has made it to KC. Deschutes leaked word of it's arrival here on Twitter last night. I speculated when the Collaboration #2 and Conflux #2 were released that Deschutes would use the Conflux #2 as part of Deschutes' arrival into Missouri and it looks like that is coming true. I have no word on when Conflux #2 is actually going to be in stores, but stay tuned, it will be soon. When it does hit store shelves, you'll want to buy it, all of it that you can because, while Boulevard's version is good, Deschutes' version is great.

  1. while I found it to be good, it seemed to be more of a lemongrass spiced saison than an IPA. I much prefer Boulevard’s version and will be doing a side by side comparison within the next week to confirm.
So, will we be getting Deschutes regularly now or do we still have to wait?

  2. I called a local liquor store and they said at least on other beer was along for the ride (the porter?) that would be permanent. I don't know if that is all deschutes is bringing or just for the time being.

  3. From Deschutes' FB page "Conflux No. 2 has landed in MO & you can score a few bottles this weekend at Bubbles Wines, Gomer's Northland, Show Me Liquor, Some Hy-Vee locations, Red-X, Y Liquor II & Olive or Twist. Draft at The Foundry & All Star Pizza and Pub. Call first to be sure before you make the trek..."

The other Deschutes beers won't be here until next month.

  4. I just picked up a bottle at Happy Hour on 40 Hwy in Independence. They just got it in today; they still had 8 or 9 bottles left.
