Blarney Brew Off - Sponsored by Grains and Taps

Grains and Taps located in downtown Lee's Summit has announced their first home brew competition, The Blarney Brew Off. This competition will feature a BJCP sanctioned competition that will be accepting all categories. They will also have a People's choice competition which will allow home brewers to serve their beer to the public.

The competition will be small. Only 60 entries are being accepted for the BJCP competition and only 10 entries for the People's Choice competition, so get registered ASAP.

Grand Prize Package valued at $200 for the Best of Show and a Prize Package valued at $100 for the People's Choice.

No word if this competition will be apart of the Kansas City Home Brewer of the Year circuit. I'll keep you posted.
