4 Hands KC Only Late Harvest Saison

I'll let it be no secret that 4 Hands is one of my favorite breweries - I've enjoyed everyone of their beers I've had with their Centennial Red being my go-to bomber on the shelve. Needless to say, when I found out that 4 Hands was producing a KC only beer, I got very excited.

This week they'll be releasing their Late Harvest Saison - brewed with wild flower honey, persimmons, and ginger. The honey and persimmons were sourced from Linda Hezel, an artisanal producer of local Prairie Birthday Farms. And the recipe collaboration itself was done with local chef, Josh Eans - who you might remember because he just took over ownership of Happy Gillis Café.

To celebrate this beer's landing, Grinders is hosting a tapping of it on Wednesday at 7pm. The first 50 people in the door will receive a piece of 4 Hands glassware to take home. If you can't make it to Grinder's, they're also having tasting a couple local liquor stores the follow two days - Thursday from 4-6pm at Gomer's Midtown and Friday from 3-6pm at Lukas Liquor on the Missouri side.

4 Hands is also sending a pin firkin of their Bona Fide Imperial Stout with coffee to the Flying Saucer on Thursday.
