Weekly Bar Buzz

Looks like a slow week leading up to the NCAA tournament. Haven't heard about too many tapping events this week. Several places seem to have Tallgrass' 8 Bit Pale Ale on tap, which I have really been enjoying. Rye on Rye kegs should start rolling out soon, but I am yet to hear any official announcements. Looks like Breckenridge 72 Imperial Chocolate Cream Stout may be this weeks highlight. Poor us.

I'm a Kansas City native who found a passion for craft beer in college. After I graduated from MU, I moved to Denver and started selling beer at the retail level. Colorado is an excellent place to learn about the beer industry and that's exactly what I did, taking full advantage of all the nearby breweries and local beer festivals and soaking up all the beer knowledge I could. My wife and I returned to KC in March of 2011 to start a family. Since then I got my Certified Cicerone, went to work for a local beer distributor and started writing for the KC Beer Blog. Now I am proud to be the Craft Beer Account Manager at the North Kansas City Beverage Co. The views expressed on my blogs are my own.
