Strong Ale Fest Beers

KC premier beer destination, the corner of Pennsylvania and Westport Rd. is holding themselves a Strong Ale Fest again this year. More specifically the folks at McCoy's, The Foundry and Beer Kitchen are having a beerfest in the little parking lot in front of The Foundry on Saturday November 12th from 1-5. This event was quite the success last year and I'm sure with the experience of last year the Fest will be even better this yearThis is the inaugural year of the Fest.



The preliminary list of beers has some real highlights including Hop God, McCoy's Ursa Major 2010, Bell's Sparkling Ale, Boulevard's test brew Double Pale and Life and Limb. The rest of the preliminary lineup (more to come).

Tickets are $30 in advance and you get a commemorative tasting glass as well as a chance to talk with the brewers and brewery representatives that know what they're talking about in regards to the beer (in contrast to the folks at KC Beerfest who, for the most part, felt they were pretty cool just to be near beer).
