Resilience IPA Beer for a Good Cause

The Sixer of Resilience waiting to be drank

Unless you have been living on Mars or are one of the 10 people on this list, you have probably heard about the Wildfire disasters in California. Now Sierra Nevada is doing something to help out the 85 families who lost a loved one, and 13,000 destroyed homes. They have brewed Resilience IPA. Resilience is a 6.8% ABV IPA, available on draught or in cans, and 100% of the proceeds are going to help with the wildfire relief. They even released their recipes and asked other craft breweries to brew the beer and donate to the cause. It was so successful that over 1400 breweries all across the nation have joined the cause (scroll down on the link to see the list).

I picked up a 6 pack of the IPA and haven’t drank it yet, but I am sure it will be delectable and it should be available at most of your quality liquor stores. I know Bubbles in Gladstone has their 6-packs available for $6.55. As for finding it on draught the only place I know of is Cinderblock, but I am sure other breweries will have it available as well.

You will be hard pressed to find a better cause and excuse to buy a beer. If I’ve said it once I’ll say it a thousand times, 100% of all proceeds will be donated. This is one of the few instances where it is ok to hoard beer, so drive, walk, hitchhike, cab, uber, hell even hop on a Lime scooter and hit up your favorite liquor store and buy a case or two or five.

Cheers,
