Flying Saucer Stout Week

It seems like we just finished wiping away our tears from saying goodbye to Flying Saucer's Sour Week, but just like that, they've got a new theme coming up next week celebrating the darker side of beer. Conveniently, this series of events comes right on the heels of the BeerKC Strong Ale Festival, so for those of you who are missing out on that, you still have some opportunities shortly thereafter to drink some special, highly sought-after stouts.

For lack of a better word, this is a pretty sexy list of beers, with many that are consistently in the RateBeer Top 50, even Top 20 (and in the case of Bell's Black Note, Top 5 at one point). Plus, many of these beers are just begging for chocolate pairings, so you have a great excuse to steal the rest of your kid's (or someone else's kid) Halloween candy and make good use of it.

All tappings will take place at 7pm each night, so prepare yourself accordingly, as I imagine some of these will go pretty quick. Cheers, and see you there!
