BeerKC Strong Ale Festival Beer List

Fall in Kansas City means a lot of things; Johnson County moms gleefully breaking their Uggs out of storage; the Hunt family quickly crushing people's summer-restored dreams that the Chiefs may have a successful season; and of course, the standard apocalyptic frenzy of shovel and salt-buying in preparation for the first 1/8" dusting of snow we get. But most importantly, Fall in Kansas City means BeerKC's Strong Ale Festival.

This year's Strong Ale Festival will take place on November 3rd at 1pm. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door, and can be purchased online here. Of course, the natural first question that arises before buying tickets is 'What beers will be there?' Well lucky you, I've got an answer.



Below is the current, tentative beer list for the Strong Ale Festival. Some breweries offerings are still TBD or simply reference a style, but this is still a fairly comprehensive resource for what you can expect to be drinking. And basically, after reading through it, I'm already feeling a little drunk. It's great to see that 2nd Shift and Perennial (I just had Fantastic Voyage the other night and am slightly obsessed) will be pouring, and there are a number of new beers that should be interesting (Sierra Nevada Narwhal, New Belgium Imperial Coffee Chocolate Stout).
