Before I get to work on today's Weekly Bar Buzz I want to quickly highlight one of the events it will feature. Boulevard has some special guests in town this week and now we have a chance to meet them. Tomorrow night at 7pm the Flying Saucer will be hosting a Meet the Brewers event with Steven Pauwels, Boulevard's Brewmaster, and Steve Dresler, Sierra Nevada's Brewmaster. Additional brewers from Boulevard and Sierra Nevada will also be on hand to raise a pint and talk about the craft beer industry with anyone interested. Most of you probably know who Steven Pauwels is and what an impact he has made on Boulevard. Steve Dresler you may be less familiar with. He has been with Sierra Nevada since 1983, when they were brewing 25-30 barrels a week (compared to 786,000 barrels in 2010), so I imagine he has a pretty interesting perspective on the industry.
